The brief for this year is “tap–ware” –either mixer or 3 piece tap set. Students can submit matching
shower mixers or wall tap assemblies and bathroom accessories to complement the range as part of their
entry howeverthe judges will be focusing on the basin mixer during the judging process.

- Aesthetic merit–30%
The design will be judged on its aesthetic beauty and the effective integration of the
various design elements. The interesting applications of materials will also be considered.

- Viability of manufacture–20%
The proposed product must have realistic potential to be manufactured using commercial
