Design methodology, Serial planes

Exercise 8–You are to construct a volumetric form through the build up of serial planes (shapes).  The serial planes may be used in simple repetition or in gradation.  Gradation means transformation or change in a gradual ordered manner.  The sequential arrangement is important in order to recognise the gradation.  Gradation may be of the shape and/or size of each plane.  Consider the following: gradation in spacing and positioning of the planes, variation of the direction of the planes including a rotated axis.
